Between the ages of 13 and 19 teenagers are more likely to feel awkward in their bodies and lack confidence around their peers. By beginning yoga at such a great age the benefits will be plenty. Most great teachers began practicing yoga in their early teens or even younger. Ideally yoga is best started around the beginning of puberty.

With the practice of yoga it will help Teens become more self-aware, focused for school, exams or competitive sports. Yoga will give them the confidence of growing into their body and enjoying who they become as a person. It will keep their body young and supple so they will age with grace and maturity and sensitive to their needs and the needs of people and surroundings around them.
